We’re always looking for qualified employees that are committed to quality and customer service. We currently have job openings for the following positions:

CREW MEMBER

This position performs a variety of landscape activities, such as planting, weeding, digging, spreading topsoil and other materials, general lawn maintenance, seasonal lawn preparation, and hardscape construction under general supervision. Builds forms for borders and places decorative stone under general supervision. The crew member may also operate lawn mowers and related equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Performs planting and related activities.
  2. Performs routine lawn maintenance including grass cutting, lawn edging, weed pulling, and other routine lawn-maintenance activities. Uses lawn mower and related equipment.
  3. Provides seasonal lawn care, such as spring and fall leaf clean-up.
  4. Moves materials and equipment and performs related duties to assist in landscaping and hardscaping.
  5. Digs holes and trenches and excavates for hardscaping features using picks and shovels or related equipment.
  6. Hauls or spreads topsoil, gravel, sand, mulch, or related materials using wheelbarrows and rakes.
  7. Hand-finishes grade, and apply seed, straw, or sod.
  8. Performs routine construction tasks, such as building forms for concrete using hand tools.
  9. Maintains assigned equipment and notifies the team leader of needed repairs.
  10. Responds politely to client inquiries and projects a professional image.

CREW LEADER

The crew leader is an experienced landscaper working with minimal supervision. The position works as a member of the team and directs the activities of two or more team members at a job site. The crew leader is able to operate a variety of equipment and has a working knowledge of horticultural practices.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to back hoes, bobcats, dingos, tillers, sod cutters, weed eaters, plant augers, chain saws, and drills.
  2. Operates automatic and stick shift vehicles, such as dump trucks and truck and trailer combinations.
  3. Completes the necessary paperwork including timesheets, work orders, change orders, material requisitions, and client tickets.
  4. Works to ensuring the job is completed in the most time-efficient manner.
  5. Manages a crew of two or more members and trains employees on policies and procedures.
  6. Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.
  7. Briefs supervisors and makes recommendations on job status, personnel issues, or client concerns.
  8. Works as a member of the team.
  9. Helps with snow removal during the winter months.
  10. Maintains assigned equipment and notifies mechanic of needed repairs.
  11. Responds politely to client inquiries and projects a professional image.

 FIELD MANAGER/PROJECT MANAGER

The field manager/project manager is an experienced landscaper working with minimal supervision. The position works as a member of the team and directs the activities of multiple crews at a job site or oversees a larger project. The manager is able to operate a variety of equipment and has a working knowledge of horticultural practices.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Reads landscaping blueprints, reviews plan with designer, and implements the landscape construction plan.
  2. Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to back hoes, bobcats, dingos, tillers, sod cutters, weed eaters, plant augers, chain saws, and drills.
  3. Operates automatic and stick shift vehicles, such as dump trucks and truck and trailer combinations.
  4. Routinely interacts with clients by way of introductions at the beginning of a job, answering questions, responding to client requests, making reasonable changes to the plan, and providing a walk-through at the job’s completion.
  5. Completes the necessary paperwork including timesheets, work orders, change orders, material requisitions, and client tickets.
  6. Plans and organizes the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Also ensures that job is completed in the most time-efficient manner.
  7. Manages team(s) of employees, including handling personnel issues on site and training employees on policies and procedures.
  8. Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.
  9. Briefs supervisors and makes recommendations on job status, personnel issues, or client concerns.
  10. Works as a member of the team.
  11. Helps with snow removal during the winter months.
  12. Maintains assigned equipment and notifies mechanic of needed repairs.
  13. Applies chemicals under the direction of licensed custom applicator.
